What it's for

The Peanut Exercise Ball offers many of the benefits of a traditional exercise ball with a more stable base. The dual-ball shape reduces unwanted rolling, so holding a position takes less correction.

It suits balance training, stretching, Pilates, bodyweight exercises and everyday mobility work. The stable shape also makes it suitable for supervised active play, where balancing, rolling and climbing over the ball builds coordination through movement, while adults use the same ball for stretching and exercise.

How it works

Unlike a standard round exercise ball, the peanut shape widens the contact area with the floor. The ball rolls forwards and backwards but resists side-to-side movement, which gives greater stability while still creating the controlled instability that encourages the muscles that stabilise your core to engage.

Sit, lean, stretch or balance on the ball to add a challenge to exercises such as bridges, planks, seated balance work and mobility drills. The same stability makes it well suited to supervised active play and coordination work.

The included foot pump inflates the ball in a few minutes, so it is ready to use with minimal setup.

Designed for everyday use

The Peanut Exercise Ball is made from anti-burst PVC with a textured surface that offers more grip than a smooth ball. The wall is formed with a honeycomb structure, so a puncture causes the ball to deflate gradually rather than burst. The PVC is 6P free, which means it does not contain DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP or DNOP.

The ball suits home workouts, Pilates sessions, stretching routines, balance training and family activities, indoors on a mat or hard floor.

Storage & space

Inflated, the ball measures 90 cm long and 45 cm wide, so it needs enough clear floor space for comfortable use. It can be left inflated between sessions or deflated using the included plug remover and stored flat in a cupboard or under a bed.
