Steel Club
What it's for
For developing shoulder strength, rotational control and grip endurance through movements that rely on leverage rather than straight-line loading. The steel club excels at one-handed patterns like mills, casts, swings, presses and transitions.
It's ideal for athletes, martial artists and anyone looking to build resilient shoulders while improving coordination and control.
How it works
The weight is concentrated in a solid steel head at the end of a tapered handle. This offset loading creates torque, forcing your shoulders, grip and core to stabilise the club throughout the movement.
Compared to a macebell, the shorter length makes the steel club faster and more responsive — perfect for fluid, one-arm work and higher-rep sequences.
Designed for everyday use
A black powder coat finish protects the steel from moisture and surface wear. The 1.2mm diamond knurl provides a confident grip without being overly aggressive, making it comfortable for longer sessions and flowing transitions.
Storage & space
Compact enough to store upright in a corner or flat against a wall. No rack required, and easy to move between training spaces.
Good to know
- Steel clubs feel heavier than their listed weight due to leverage
- Start lighter if you're new to rotational or one-handed training
